ARTIFACTS COLLECTION

Materials: Polymer clay, Copper wire, brass rounds, beads. All endings are made with the same technique in polymer clay, wood imitation. USA, 2011.

Statement: This jewelry belongs to my latest collection ARTIFACTS, old and forgotten objects found under the ocean...in a shipwreck. The technique used is wood imitation with a patina to give it an old, used and worn look. I created these objects by constructing indeterminate forms, adding other materials such as copper wire and brass to complete the structure. I wanted to design a very functional collection so all women can wear it with all colors of clothes and besides that I also wanted to create something completely different to the flowery style that I usually do.

BONE SERIES

Materials: polymer clay and patina.
This polymer clay is flexible so the rings are adjustable. Bone imitation.

FAIRY TALES COLLECTION

Statement: This collection revolves around the magical landscapes and worlds of the bedtime stories.
Those magical worlds where everything is possible, and where all children go before they fall asleep.

The secret garden hidden behind each fairy tale, a scene and landscape which belongs to a fairy tale. All legendary stories took place in a wonderful garden.
The connecting threads of this exhibit are the flowers, the colors and large sizes of some of the pieces. The large sizes symbolize the importance of these fairy tales in a child’s imagination where he lives and plays around those stories for all his childhood.

Materials: women tights, cotton balls, beads and felt.

MESH RIBBON SERIES

Materials: Italian mesh ribbon (34 Gauge weave wire). Ask for catalogue of colors.

MINIROSCO AND ROSCO SERIES

Materials: copper wire, beads. Ask for colors.

TOUAREG SERIES

Materials: Anodized aluminum wire and copper wire.

WHISPERS IN WHITE COLLECTION

Statement: This collection was born around the concept of “daydream”, it’s an evocative representation of the images that come to our mind in those moments when we are awake and we let our mind fly away to imaginary landscapes…
In this case those inventions travel all around nocturnal landscapes overcast by the snow, an unreal snow which is more like sugar than the frozen water.
In concept this collection bordered on the Surrealism because of the mix between the real life and the daydream.
The pieces of jewelry are accompanied by surrealistic poems which were an active tool in the creation of each piece.

The connecting thread of this collection is the color white which symbolizes the sentiment of ethereal and fragile delicacy of the daydreams and the cold of the snow.
